Welcome to Oceans Edge

Oceans Edge Estate, Palm Cove – A celebrated address.
In 1987, KERDIC began as a privately owned Queensland family business with a commitment to creating places of enduring quality. Today, as a multi-award-winning property group, KERDIC brings four decades of experience to the next chapter of Oceans Edge Estate.
Following the acquisition of the development rights to the 16-hectare Stage 2 precinct, KERDIC assembled a leading team of estate planners, designers and landscape architects to build upon the beauty and character of the established Stage 1 neighbourhood. The result is a thoughtfully planned residential address featuring some of the finest homesites ever released in Palm Cove.
Generous landscaping, considered streetscapes and an enviable coastal setting come together to create a refined tropical lifestyle unlike any other. Chosen by those who already call Palm Cove home. Almost half of Stage 2 purchasers are existing Palm Cove residents — people who know the area intimately have chosen Oceans Edge stage 2 as the place to live in Palm Cove
The display home at 12 Oceans Edge Boulevard offers a glimpse into the relaxed elegance of life at Oceans Edge. Opening soon, it is currently available to inspect by private appointment. KERDIC continues to collaborate with key stakeholders to honour the original vision for Oceans Edge and establish it as Northern Australia’s premier residential resort community.
Upon completion, Oceans Edge Estate will comprise approximately 220 residential homesites, luxury apartment residences, a hotel, a Health Club including a gym, sauna, 25-metre pool and tennis & pickle ball courts, protected natural areas and beautifully landscaped gardens connected by walkways and recreational spaces.
This is more than a prestigious Palm Cove address.it is a lasting coastal legacy
OUR HISTORY
Oceans Edge Estate comprises the majority of the area formerly occupied by the Novotel Resort which was a 40-hectare (100-acre), world-class hotel resort that included 430 rooms, an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, squash courts, eight pools, a health club, a conference centre, and multiple restaurants, all set within manicured gardens and grounds. When it opened in January 1989, many Cairns residents described it as Beverly Hills coming to Cairns.
From the 1990s through the early 2000s, Novotel Palm Cove was highly successful, attracting a high rate of returning guests. However, as Palm Cove continued to grow in popularity as a premier destination, a proposal emerged in 2003 to redevelop the site into northern Australia’s finest residential resort community. This marked the beginning of its transformation into Oceans Edge Estate, with the first residential lots and new homes (Stage 1A) released for sale in late 2006.
